                    “what the fuck is up with carnival food? why is everything fried?” noelle was never the biggest fan of greasy food. anyone who knew her knew that. yet here she was, sitting at a picnic table, inhaling the scent of all the different varieties of food. “i swear, if i see another fried twinkie i’m going to vomit.” of course she was being over dramatic. because here she was, chomping away that slice of red velvet cake from three tiers. “don’t look at me like that, barbara gave this to me for free.”

                    the brunette had been wandering around for what felt like hours. but in reality it had only been thirty minutes. alongside her was her black pug, wearing his service animal vest. she was mentally thanking luca for allowing her to snag one from his vet. getting away with bringing her best pal to the festival was fun, no doubt. but it was such a hassle to get the lazy pug to move. “boba -- boba no! get up!” he had sat down for the fifth time within the last twenty minutes. “boba!” she yelled at the dog again, yet he seemed completely unphased. “get. up.”

             🎃 The Festival of Frights has officially begun! 💀

For all event starters, please use the tag #wbevent:fof. We ask that you also track this tag during the duration of the event! As stated in the official event post, it is up to you whether or not you choose to put a pause on your regular interactions. It is, of course, encouraged that you participate in the event regardless.

Hey there, folks!

After some thought, it was decided that a one-night Discord chat event will be held tomorrow night to coincide with the Festival of Frights! I know we have discussed it before and everyone seems to really enjoy chat events. The event will, of course, be set at the festival and during a bonfire for all of the characters to gather around and interact.

If you are unfamiliar with Discord, no worries, you can use the web browser or the downloadable version! There will be a group chat made in the app and there, you can set your nickname in the server to your character’s name. We also ask that you avoid third person/para writing and stick to dialogue and the use of actions in asterisks or parentheses - this will guarantee more interactions among the characters as less time will be wasted replying. I will post the link to the chat in the OOC blog at the time of the event.

The chat will be held tomorrow, Thursday, October 26th at 9pm EST. From my experience these chats tend to last anywhere from three to six hours, so do not fret if you’re worried you won’t be online in time! We hope to see you guys there.
