You must think I'm a fool if I'd give my blog away without sending you on a goose chase first?
I think you're a goose but that's irrelevant. I'll give your little challenge a gander hehe
INTERVIEW 2008 JARED PADALECKI
Short interview with Jared Padalecki from 2008
I love this. :)
it’s amazing how men can just ruin everything
My bf wants to propose to me but it's only been 6 months and like I'm 110% certain I want to, we've been living together for half that time, we're already really good at calmly talking through disagreements, etc. But I'm really worried my family will judge us for wanting to get married at 23 & 24, plus will grill me about how it's only been 6 months. My bfs brother actually just got fully married after dating a girl for 5 months (proposed I think after 4) so like I know his family won't care but mine are super judgemental and we have to see them constantly for the next few years (I have younger brothers)
Sorry for the rant, but yeah do you have any advice? Or just like, can offer me some pity? lol
if you're going to be together forever, what's the rush? i think it'd be a good for the both of you to understand that marriage is a huge sign of love and commitment, but it isnt the only one. if you're asking for my advice, i guess id say this: wait to get married. not because the love isn't there or because you're unsure about each other, but because it's safer to not do anything legally binding, especially as queer people in this time. have a wedding if you want to! live together! but dont make it legal. and always always always make sure you have a way out. i love you so much and im wishing you both the best
I have come to the really funny conclusion that if my life was a TV show people would ship my roommate and me really hard
The Greek government is in the process of drafting a new framework for the care and protection of pets and strays and if its legislators are looking for some inspiration, Syros may be a good place to start.
Here, apart from the customary cafés, you will also find “cat cafés” – that is 10 spots in different parts of Syros that have been cleaned and equipped with shelters and feeding bowls for the Aegean island’s stray felines.
“You could argue that similar corners exist in many other parts of the country,” says Manos Vorissis, the veterinarian behind the initiative. “The difference here is that we spruce up the surrounding area where the feeding stations are placed. Volunteers plant trees and flowers, and clear away trash and debris so that passers-by see something that it is pretty and civilized. That is the major difference: It is not enough just to care about feeding our four-legged friends, but it’s also important to do it in a way that shows respect for public space, that also prompts citizens to consider doing more than just leaving scraps on a piece of tinfoil on the sidewalk.”
A vet who views himself more like an official serving the public good than a private professional, Vorissis has been instrumental in changing local mentalities about the issue of strays. An Athenian who moved to the island and put down roots many years ago, he decided in 2018 to establish a veterinary clinic and public benefit organization called We Live Together.
