The traced scenes in Lmk that they take from previous episodes are to KEEP THE QUALITY AS GOOD AS IT IS.

if you look at the reused animation and think "the animators are lazy omfg" shut the fuck up you know nothing of animation and time limits and how often animators are taken advantage of.

Lmk is beautiful and one of the only reasons they can make that is to keep the quality and stay within deadlines. a single seven seconds can take THREE HOURS.

so yeah be nice to the animators or im fucking bonking you. their working hard t give us a nice and pretty show.

I think one of the things people who work with me most appreciate is that they can fight me.

If they have a problem, they can address it to my face. Even if they're pissed or surly or yelling. Even if they go so far they manage to piss /me/ off, and I'm glaring and surly right back -

- until the very instant we need to cooperate to do something, and /all/ of that gets packed away and we get to work. The kind of smooth, frictionless hand-to-hand work that is completely impossible in the presence of passive aggression.

The whole thing passive aggression is is punishing the other person by globally upping the friction. And, sure, that sometimes sort of almost works at /roughly/ the thing you're aiming at eventually.

But when your first and final priority is /getting things done/, passive aggression /does not fly/. It is too slow and heavy to fly. You will not go to space today. You won't even /save face/ today.

Active aggression or go home. Straightforward and straight away. You can beat me at the bench but do not drop the wrench
