"We Work Nights"

Genre: Electronic, Techno Description: Gold Panda is responsible for one of my favorite pieces of electronic music ever ("Quitter's Raga"), so when Half of Where You Live turned out to be merely good, I was saddened. Eventually, certain tracks grew on me, most notably "We Work Nights," where Gold Panda's talent at creating very specific moods using different multi-ethnic instrumentation is front and center. The song isn't Panda's best work, but even a mediocre track by a great artist is well worth a listen.
