Your path is Valid

I’m mad people are policing other’s spiritual experiences. Spirituality is unique to every individual, and no two beliefs and experiences are going to be alike. I left my old religion behind in part because I was sick of its members constantly telling me how to interpret my belief and dictating a strict dichotomy between absolute truth and falsehoods, what’s right and what’s wrong.

Everyone’s path is different. Maybe it doesn’t make sense to some, or maybe others don’t agree–that’s okay. Just please don’t invalidate someone’s personal experience because it doesn’t match up with your ideology.

I have commandeered the living room in my apartment for the sole purpose of eating popcorn and bananas and watching Doctor Who (my roommates are hardly around anyways).

I watch nerdy Doctor Who youtube videos. I download said videos.

I am sitting in a pair of old sweatpants, fuzzy socks, wrapped in a blanket.

And so, I say to you, you are not alone!

We Whovians are everywhere... Right around the corner, down the block, even in your 100-level physical science class.
