How do you guys make a collaborative blog work? If a friend and want to do something similar to what you guys are doing, how did you set it up? I already have a few of my own personal tumblr blogs and she doesn't.

ANON I AM SO SORRY! I honestly NEVER saw this question and Becca was in Scotland at the time this was asked so I DESPERATELY HOPE YOU SEE THIS.

It's really not as hard as you think it might be (so long as one of you doesn't go on an epic study abroad and ignore making videos FOREVER BECCA).

We have a joint everything for this: joint tumblr, joint email, joint youtube account (connected to our gmail account). We both have our own personal tumblrs as well, we just use this one to keep in touch with each other.

How we set it up? Well, we talked about it, decided to wanted to give it a go and texted back and forth a TON. First thing is to set up a joint email (use gmail if you want to use youtube because then you only have to set up one account for both things). Then you just talk about how you want your tumblr set up and go for it. talk about how you want to rotate (Becca and I are supposed to alternate regularly, but it doesn't always work out that way. today is a fine example of that).

And you just follow whoever in the heck you want. Fandom blogs. Neil Gaiman. The like.
