Family, we are at a crossroads in our world where the values we love, cherish and protect are under fire. We wish everyone that leaves home whether it is to protest or protect makes it home safe. In that spirit we will be holding a community chat and ride bringing together all aspects, all sides, on something we can all agree on: riding bikes is fun and a great way to discover new communities and meet new friends. Join us tomorrow for a pre-ride chat at BicycleSPACE Ivy City 10am as we head to the Phife is Living Park Jam at Marvin Gaye Park. Bring your bike, awareness and solidarity as we celebrate the lives of Phife Dawg, Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Sandra Bland, Jerrel Elliot, Brent Thompson, Michael Krol, Patrick Zamarripa, Mike Smith, Lorne Aherns and all the others unnamed. As part of the event, the Metropolitan Police Department will be leading a community ride along the Marvin Gaye Trail, one of the nicest riding spots in our city. #TogetherWeRide!
