Ichi my absolute fucking beloved
So... Throughout the day I'd noticed the boys had been acting a little... Off. Nothing too noticable, nothing really out of the ordinary, they just seemed off. I brushed it off, thinking it was just excitement over the fact that this was Dabi's first Christmas with us.
I was... very wrong.
As the day went on, I noticed more and more how antsy they seemed to get. Again, nothing extreme, just both of them just seemed anxious? Almost? Like they were excited, but not quite? Hard to explain, and when I asked they just said it was nothing. Had no reason to not believe them so I just went with it.
We opened gifts around six and everyone got lovely gifts. We all got some clothes, I got some bath accessories, and Dabi managed to find Keigo a new wing oil we're going to try. After that we had dinner and then Keigo went to go visit his mother and Dabi left to go see the League. They got back around eight and I noticed that being away did not help with the anxiety. In fact, it made it worse.
I had enough of it, as a person who has an anxiety disorder the atmosphere was just too much. I confronted them on it and at first they tried to dismiss it once more, but I was done dancing around the issue. I told them to tell me what was going on right now, because honestly? I was getting really worried.
I did not expect the answer I ended up getting.
So, um... Long story short...
I said yes!
I proposed to my girlfriend on her birthday. July 28th, 2021...And she said YES!!!
Hey friends! I have a big announcement and an important memory to share! @tired-hours and I are engaged! After almost two years together, much planning, and a whole metric ton of love later I decided to propose to her on her birthday, filming each and (almost) every moment that went by!
One of her favorite things to do is learn about my family traditions. I've shared several with her of the past 2 years and I decided to share an important one from my childhood. My parents would often get creative with how they would give gifts to my brother and I, trying to make the whole process as engaging as possible, so I decided to do the same for her...
And send her on a scavenger hunt!!!
I start out by giving her the little clue about where her first present would be hiding.
We both know that life is a two player game that we want to share. A game of struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. So I decided to slip It Takes Two into my gaming rack. She knows I'm a stickler for organization so I hid this lovely ps4 game among the wii games where it didn't belong -.-
(And yes, knowing it was their made me weep)
She holds me close when she's scared but still loves to indulge my love of horror...and embrace her love of it to! She has always loved the art of Junji Ito and when I found this art book I knew she would love it. "So," you may ask, "where did I hide it?" Under the bed of course, where only the scariest of monsters dwell!
This one was a bit of a gag gift, but it was a big throwback to the beginningof our relationshipnone the less. Funny as it may seem, Frozen 2 was the first movie we saw together. I'm a huge fan of Disney movies and even though the Frozen franchise is beyond overrated, I couldn't help but want to go see it. Even though I knew it wouldn't be the most romantic movie, I couldn't help but want her to see it with me. Despite her playful protests, she indulged me and it became one of our first memories. So where else would I hide it but inside of our popcorn stash!?
After that I led her down memory lane, reminding us both of all the time we spent together. Since the beginning we have had a special photo album that we've been filling out over the past two years, but I hadn't been able to print out many of the photos we've taken until now! These are our memories, this is our journey, and we plan to make many more memories as we go forward.
In the time before we first met in person, she and I had spoken through Tumblr, Discord, and phone calls that lasted well until the night. And when we met, everything felt so perfect. Everything just clicked. At the mall where we met, I bought her Lynn, her big bouncing stuffed bundle of love. It was something she had wanted for a while and I wanted to be the one to give it to her. That day was also the first day that she told me she loved me, smiling at me brighter then the sun and holding that plushy tight. It was then that I knew I loved her to. But now this leads us to her last gift, a Pandora charm bracelet with a single charm and a heart clasp.
The charm says "My Wife Always".
And when she turned around, there I was, kneeling down on one knee and asking her to be my one and only...
And she said yes!!!
But I know our journey is far from over. There will be many struggles to come, many hurdles to leap over, and I know that things won't always be easy. But with her I feel so much lighter, even in the dark the stars seem full of so much light, and I know we will be there to support each other and hold hands through it all.
My darling, my love, my everything.
I love you.

Good morning, beautiful. Or should I say, Mrs. Paris?
It was so hard leaving you this morning. I know the next few days are busy for you with the data stream and all, but any minutes you have free, let me know and I’ll get to you for a quick smooch.
We were so busy last night, I forgot to ask you. Do you want to keep our engagement a secret? Or would you like to do the honors and start telling everyone? Of course, if you’re wearing that ring around people will figure it out sooner rather than later...
I love you!
SHE SAID YES!!!!!!
