In a world filled to the brim with chance encounters and inexplicable occurrences, the odds of an opportune moment unexpectedly arising are not even close to being inconsiderable. Even if a spell of misfortune were to haunt an unsuspecting victim for weeks on end, blinding rays of sunlight would inevitably break the curse and enable merriment to embrace the miserable soul. Naturally, the reverse holds true as well. Until the tides do turn, it becomes necessary for the hopeless to lessen the weight of the world from where it rests on their shoulders. While some purposefully find an elixir in the form of alcoholic beverages, those who cherish their sobriety or simply wish to believe that salvation can be discovered in the form of benevolent entities may venture to buildings designed for the purpose of strengthening faith.

Ironically, the formidable being can currently be found at one of these places of worship. Not because he intends to pray, though. As for why it is that he has journeyed this way, well, it hardly matters anymore. For it becomes quite apparent that an opportune moment has suddenly been presented to him the moment bloodstained irises casually discern a familiar form. A smirk unabashedly forms on his countenance while bare extremities remain stuffed inside of blue pockets. A tone of amusement confidently carries forth coherent words as he speaks to shatter the silence.
