First WIP for Estelle! I'm really excited for this cosplay! Right now I'm focusing on her weapon and shield, which are coming along nicely. The sword was actually a foam sword of some character from SAO that I bought at Comikaze, but its been painted and repurposed for Estelle. I know she is most often depicted with a wand of some sort, but I prefer her with a sword. And this one was a lot of fun to paint! Due to issues with the silver though, it'll need some battle damage to hide where paint peeled off. As for the shield, its made out of thin plywood, two pieces to make that slight angle her shield has. I've already patterned out the gold design on her shield to figure out where best to put the screws that will hold it together, but it will be a while before I get around to actually making them. First it needs to be assembled and then primed.
