DAY SIX DECLARATION:
WE ARE ENCOURAGED
POWERFUL PRINCIPLE:
2 I want them to be ENCOURAGED and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ Himself. 3 In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. - Colossians 2:2-3 (NLT)
INSPIRED INITIATIVE:
Whenever there is a break out of sickness and disease, or a national or global tragedy the natural feeling that arises is discouragement. People feel bewildered and confused and lack the hope to move forward or see a way out of their situation. Throughout the Bible, we see that the people of God have always overcome any obstacle that has tried to defeat them. Obstacles are merely opportunities to overcome our opponent. When the devil tries to kill, steal and destroy, we remind ourselves that Jesus came to give us life, and that life more abundantly. We must decree and declare God‘s blessing over our lives if we’re going to defeat the devil at his own game. We must stay ENCOURAGED in the midst of discouragement, and choose not to quit, even though we feel like giving up. We know that no weapon formed against us can prosper, and the Bible gives us the only weapons that Satan has against us, before he even tries to tempt us. Satan uses the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life to divert us from our purpose. Knowing this, we can regain our courage, just like Joshua did after the death of Moses, and conquer the Promised Land that God has declared we will possess. Wake up every morning, look in the mirror, and tell yourself, “I am encouraged!”
DIVINE DECLARATIONS:
1. We declare encouragement in our life to overcome the discouragements of each and every day.
2. We declare complete confidence in the plan that God has for our lives and our church family.
3. We declare encouragement for our marriages, ministries and communities as we become knitted together in God’s love and protection.
