A New Way to Manage Your Projects
If you've logged in to We Are Pop Up recently, you may have noticed a bit of a change. We've made some updates to how you manage the projects you've created, in an effort to simplify the process of listing, finding space, and sharing with your communities.
The Project List
The first major change comes to the main list of your projects. We Are Pop Up has grown and added a number of new features since this page was first designed, and the list was beginning to feel cluttered. The new list features a simplified design, with much of the functionality moved to a new Project Management panel (see below). Within each project row on the list, there are several indicators for project status, as well as a few buttons for some common functions.
A progress bar has been added to help you understand what may still need to be done to take full advantage of your project. While there are several contributing factors to having a project marked "complete", the general rule is that a complete project should have basic information, images, and either a request for space or an upcoming location and time.
Additionally, three small icons will help you identify quickly if your project has an active request for space, has received any offers (and how many have not yet been viewed), or you've added a location and time.
Hot Pop Ups - April 1st, 2013
This week, We Are Pop Up HQ launched 'Hot Properties' on our home page. This puts our businesses and brands in control; they can now apply for a particular space that fits their pop-up project. We are currently featuring much-loved spaces such as Boxpark Shoreditch and Dalston Department Store, both pop-up veterans. This two-way match making is our version of retailing in the future!
This week has also been a winner with new and exciting project pages popping up every day. It is inspiring to learn about so many unique and creative pop-up ideas. I had the opportunity to pick three outstanding pages this week to feature on the We Are Pop Up blog and help these projects get the most out of their space requests.
