SONFIRE ALMANACS LLC is a developer company for Google Play and Amazon. We are the first weather company to develop long range stand alone weather models. Currently we have the SonFire Winter Almanac selling on Google Play and Amazon for $2.99. This long range weather app has forecast accuretly the snow potential in Southern Alaska, Upper Michigan, Sleet in Arkansas for October, Texas Panhandle snow in October, New York snow in December and Southwest Texas snow in November. This is just a small amount to mention as many more instances of snow has occurred where model has forecast the activity. At one point SonFire Winter Almanac was ranked #9 in Google Play for weather apps. West Point bought an app in November and a NWS employee bought an app in December. We have sold 42 apps in a month with no advertising. In January we will be advertising on TV which should add to the sales potential.Â

SONFIRE ALMANACS LLC is releasing the WALT MODEL app January 11, 2018 if everything works well on iPhone and Google Play. The WALT Model is named partially after Patty Lancaster who was killed in a non tornado warned QLCS Feb. 20, 1997. The WALT Model forecasts tornadoes up to 10 days in advance. We have had some very good accuracy of forecasting QLCS tornadoes that radar cannot pick up over a 6 year period. This includes using this model with Emergency Management in Haskell County Oklahoma 2011 - 2014. The WALT model forecast the April 2011 tornadoes in Wister and Tushka Oklahoma 24 hours in advance respectively. May 2011 tornado in Northern Latimer county was indicated by the WALT Model 24 hours in advance. The Benton County Arkansas QLCS tornado that hit Rogers, October 2012, was detected by WALTÂ Model 6 days in advance but no warning was issued and radar did not see the tornado . The April Cameron Oklahoma tornado was forecast by WALT Model 7 days in advance and we contacted Carl Albert State college. The May tornado that hit Natural Dam Arkansas was forecast by WALT Model 8 days in advance and we sent a spotter to watch the tornado hit. There was no warning of this QLCS tornado and radar did not detect the tornado. Things are looking up for SONFIRE ALMANACS LLC.
