Photos I took this morning of the funky oily looking sky while looking out the livingroom window. This bizarre weather phenomenon was also recorded earlier this year in February in Scotland and branded as Nacreous cloud, which is when low-lying clouds are formed by freezing ice, causing this weird oily like effect.

Do you see the “SnowMoon” out there tonight? It’s so beautiful ... Look up and make your wish 🤩 It’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February. On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month- it also happens to be the wettest month for us in Southern California but as you know, it’s everything but that! We’ve had no measurable rain at all.
