How to upgrade your plan

To choose the professional or education plan, click Upgrade in the banner on the left bottom, when logged-in to app.webjets.io.

This will lead you to a dialog where you can choose between different plan options. Just follow the next steps, and your plan will be updated instantly.

Please note that students, educators or people working for a non-profit organization, are eligible to request an education plan for free.

Full Color Labels - Webjets v1.0.14

Beside many other changes, the latest Webjets Release features improved colors labels. Instead of having a small bar on the right site, now the full header of each card is filled with the chosen color.

Webjets - Release Notes 1.0.10

The main improvement is about the sharing feature. Now, users you share some content with don't need to be registered on Webjets anymore.

Those users receive an email with some invitation to sign up. As soon such user has signed-up, the shared content can be found in its inbox on the right-top.

Webjets - Release Notes 1.0.8

In the last release we featured a few User Experience changes, which are summarized in this article.

Zoom Buttons in Toolbar

For convenience now it’s possible to access the Zoom Controls at the bottom right on your toolbar.

Open URLs with one click

To quickly open the origin of a Link Card click the chain icon in the header. This also works for collapsed cards.

Show and hide images for links

Now it’s possible to show/hide preview images for links. Once you are hiding an image for a link, this option will be used as default for all future copy+paste operations. As soon you enable images again, they will also be displayed for all following actions.

Webjets API

The Webjets API is providing WebHooks to push content to your inbox in an automated way. This can by utilized by our own apps or existing 3rd party services like Zapier or IFTTT.

Just send a POST request to your WebHook URL. This URL can be found under your Profile > Settings.

Following fields are allowed in the request body:

title - the title of the card (optional)

content - the body text of the card

data - anything in that field is automagically transformed to the best matching card. For example if some content starts with “http://...” it is transformed into a Link Card, in case of a YouTube URL it becomes a interactive YouTube Card and so on.

Note that content and data are replacing each other. Don’t us both of them. This example creates a Note Card:

{   title: “Hello”,   content: “World” }

How to bookmark websites using Webjets in Safari (Bookmarklet)

In Webjets open your user profile > settings. There search for the “Collect” section, as in the image below:

Drag the “Collect in Webjets” Bookmarklet to your Bookmarks Sidebar in Safari. 

Now when clicking “Collect in Webjets” while surfing the web, the current website will be pushed to your Webjets Inbox.

Automate webjets.io using Zapier & Alfred

Our user Nick made a sweet interactive tutorial on how to push content into your Webjets Inbox using Zapier and Alfred. 

Zapier allows you to automate anything to support your very personal workflow. And Alfred can trigger those automations on your Mac using shortcuts. 

Of course he made that tutorial with a published Webjets Board. :-)
