A quick doodle I drew last night of Eun-ah and the Prince out for a stroll! From my historical-inspired webtoon, "Beneath the Camphor Tree". I miss these guys so much 🥲 been thinking of getting back into working on BTCT again soon 👀

My first ever animation with characters from my Webtoon "Blanc Cartridge". Not gonna lie, I feel like a chud learning animation. Especially when I have to definitely simplify my style and shading.
BUT IT'S A PROGRESS NONETHELESS SO YAY 🫣 Only me and Dong Chung animation tutorials against the world 🌍
So I know I already asked for reccomendations pretty recently but now I'm looking for a specific genre so please be patient lol I would like anyone to tell me some of their favorite horror webtoons. I really really love horror and I've only read a couple so far. Again, I cannot read anything rated mature.
Gayalang PLEASE GIVE ME WEBTOON RECCOMENDATIONS I NEED TO READ SMTH RAHHHHHHHHHHH also it cannot be rated mature and I'm fine with almost any genre!! Ideally smth queer, but anything goes! ^^
Edit: oh also I forgot to mention I prioritize story over other things like spice and romance so anything with complex world building? GIVE IT TO ME BEFORE I SNATCH UR HAIR
Been while since I posted on this tumblr but im desperate to scream to a community and apparently r/manwha dosen't allow even to most mild of critiques.
[I Was Mistaken as a Monstrous Genius Actor] First Impression
This is a really fun series I only picked up yesterday and im already on ch.59. I like how the protagonist only acts like a super cool nonchalant guy but is actually super normal and a dork. It shows even when he's not using his abilities he is a strong actor capable of staying in character no matter the situation— so believable that the people around him come to their own conclusions about him. He's the acting beast lol. The characters are fun but also believable and its a light ready that I've just been tearing into and it actually makes me want to pick up the webnovel so I can read even more detail about his exploits as an actor.
My only but of criticism is that there are a number of times where plot points feel weak due to lack of justification, or even when there is a possible justification that could be used it never gets brought up. Cetrain things that happen feel shallow/illogical and are blatantly only there for the sake of the plot. (I know I know I basically decribed half of the webtoon population and Im looking for realistic logic in a story about a regular guy who has a pocket dimension where he can instantly memorise and embody any script he gets while also instantly upgrading his talents) Like I wish we actually got to see more focus on the projects he does, like we never got to see the finished result of the film he did or his other appearances in the the episodes he filmed of his first drama. We just get told that what happens and the reactions of people and move on.
The trigger for writing this was the last chapter I read (58.) Where he finally goes on the Japanese variety show. There's a little boy in the audience (picked from among mc's fans) who is deaf and asks his question in sign language. The plot point being that its discovered that if he learns another language he also learns the sign language associated automatically... however the manhwa never shows us what the boy asks in the q&a or the MC's answer the focus is only on the MC'S newly unlocked ability. At this point in the Manhwa only two of the MC'S projects have been released, he's become popular in Japan due to the first show he stared in and the serial killer he played becoming popular... SO WHY IS THERE A FIVE YEAR OLD IN THE AUDIENCE!!! Even if he was a fan from his Korean short film that won him his award THAT TOO WAS A VIOLENT FILM ABOUT MURDER! So unless the kid is a fan of his music YouTube i cant think why he would be there and I'll never know because the story never asks and I never get to guess based off the kid's question because thats brushed over aswell! And no one else in the story has a reaction either! There's no one curious why this kid is a Fan of the actor whos one and only popular character is a serial killer? Gaahhh like who let this kid watch that? Did he even? We'll never know because the story only cares that MC can use sign language of any language that he knows. So the only reason the kid is there is to establish that and also because he's apparently the grandson of some rich tycoon and that make another plot point later... BUT WHY WAS HE IN THE AUDIENCE AT ALL AT LEAST GIVE ME SOME REASON I BEG YOUUUU. 😭
I know most people don't care about stuff like this, I think I only care because I'm actually enjoying the story so much that I feel like it can be strengthened easily.
Bro forgot he's not really in a good position💀
Imagine asking for ANYTHING after blowing $100,000 of their money 😭 Alan's lucky he's still breathing.
