Anyone know any places I can get a good bowl for kinda cheap?
My weed is lonely.
I haven't smoked marijuana in well over twenty years--the varieties they had back then were way too strong for me, and I wound up having unpleasant experiences with it. I'm sort of dipping my toe into the idea of partaking again, for reasons of health, recreation, and spiritual uses, but I'm nervous about the strength of what's available. I don't live in a state with legal cheeb, by the way, so I'd be limited in my selections. Thank you!
that’s awesome to hear! I know it can be a little ridiculous with the potency these days. I would say your best bet would be to start with a light hybrid, maybe leaning towards indica dominant, as these will be more relaxing and less stimulating, and you can avoid the full body high and couch lock effect. Unfortunately it gets a little confusing from here, as it’s difficult to gauge strength when growers will have vastly different phenotypes depending on their growing methods. area and quality. Definitely ask who your buying from if they can tell you the THC%. Most producers/growers/sellers have if not the exact amount a good estimate. Stick to something around 10-15%, and if you can find a strain with a good level of CBD (anywhere from 1 - 5%) will help to counteract the intenseness of the THC and makes for a more well rounded, uplifting yet relaxing high. Some good strains off the top of my head would be LA Confidential, Afghani, Rockberry (hybrid), actually anything outdoor grown from afghanistan or the midddle east, especially if it’s a strain used for making hash, will be good. When you’re choosing, if you smell a very pungent cheesy odor that would be an indicator of a heavier strain. Also, the more THC, the more “caked” and crystalized the buds will look. Look for a less intense earthy smell, and the buds shouldn’t look like they were dipped in sugar.Hope this helps!
I've heard of weed helping digestion is that true?
absolutely! Like proven in case studies. Actually, cannabis has ties to treating gastro intestinal disorders since about 1400 BCE in India! Cannabis acts as a naturally soothing anti inflammatory agent in your gut lining. Your endocannabinoid system is directly linked to your gut motility so I would say it makes sense :)
