smiling so big thinking about buck and eddie house hunting. because look. they know what to expect from the la housing market, but they still can’t help feeling a little defeated after a few days of looking at houses and still not having a single solid contender on the table…

buck’s in the driver’s seat on the way home after their final viewing of the day; face pinched with worry and biting at his lip like he’s preventing himself from saying something. and eddie knows buck like the back of his hand- can figure what he’s probably in his head about. so he reaches over and lightly squeezes at buck's thigh to get his attention, and in the softest voice ever says, "hey, buck? i hope you know that the most important thing for a house to have is you, okay? that's all that matters to me. you. in whichever house we decide on. you with me, chris, and the baby- that is all i need. not everything else you think i do." and literally just like that, buck's face instantly relaxes like that's all he'd been needing to hear this whole time and he reaches down to squeeze at eddie's hand on top of his thigh and gives him the sweetest little smile when he replies, "yeah? me too, eddie." :)
