I’m having so many Gernot thoughts - he’s rotating delightfully on the pottery wheel in my head
I just enjoy positioning him within the historical reality of early 16th c Bavaria and thinking through the many options there are for what motivated him, what made him tick (beyond the obvious of greed and fear) and man, he’s giving me as much delight as Grima does in exploring the “uglier” parts of humanity and what makes us function that way
