My vacation’s finally over!

Quick feedback on all of the photos I took in the beach resort: I had such a fun time bringing my Poppy and Branch toys to that place and spent the entire trip taking pictures of them everywhere throughout the fish aquarium, the hotel and even the beach! The beach and the aquarium parts were quite fun to look at and you guys had like it so much! I hope next time I can come back there and bring Poppy and Branch along to explore a bit further!

I would like to thank my followers @eva-93 and @sunshineafter for reblogging and liking all my photos I took throughout the trip and it was such a memorable experience for everyone! @ask-frond will also be proud to see photos of the plush Frond in the beach and the video I edited and made!

Also thank you, Eva, for making a drawing of Branch and Poppy on the manta ray based on the aquarium part of the trip! You’re very generous and kind for supporting me, Branch and Poppy throughout the whole journey! I sure hope next trip will be even better than this one! But this trip was a lot of fun to explore and see!

Universal Studios and Me!

Hey guys, this past weekend B and I had a trip up to Universal Studios! Come with me and I’ll tell you all about it!

So this weekend B and I went up to Universal Studios Hollywood for a long-awaited vacation together! While it may have been short it was full of fantastic experiences and I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world!  This wasn’t the first time either of us had been to a Universal Studios park, but it was still absolutely wonderful!

Our day started with the beloved Studio Tour in the Lower Lot section of the park, a tour that takes you through the many active soundstages and sets (some which were even being used as we were going through the tour! Wow!). A few of my favorite parts weren’t in the tour because while we were there the park was preparing for Halloween Horror Nights! Everything was decked out in its Halloween best and it was absolutely to die for!

After that we moved around the Lower Lot for a little longer, disappointed that the Jurassic Park ride was shut down, us having come right in the middle of them revamping it to be the new Jurassic World ride in 2019! But instead of wallowing in our sadness we grabbed some conveniently place Chinese food instead, taking a break to plan the rest of our day.

After our brief brunch of Orange Chicken and Chow Mein we tried our luck at everyone’s favorite ride; Transformers! Unfortunately, throughout the two days, we were there the ride would be shut down periodically for sporadic times. We figured we’d try our luck when we came back another day. Instead, we hopped on The Revenge of the Mummy and had a quick blast through one of my favorite franchises- cheesy light-up ghost mummies and all!

After that buzz, we took off toward Hogs Meade to grab ourselves a pair of Butterbeers! I took mine frozen as usual and let B have his regular but no matter how you take yours, that rich, caramel foam, atop a bubbly (or frosty) bed of bright sweetness is a dream on any hot day!

After this, we decided to give our barking dogs a little break and settled in for a show of Animal Actors! We got to see some amazing animals up close and personal such as the European Eagle Owl, some beautiful dogs seen in many of our favorite films and commercials, and even a couple of trained cats (not something I ever thought I’d see!) After Animal Actors we were back on our feet hoping for a chance to get in to ride Transformers, but still no luck! So we opted to hop on the Simpsons Ride for a time, hoping my stomach would hold up to the wild ride!

Our day came to a sweet end with some burgers in Margaritaville while a pair of musicians cut right out of Aloha fabric serenaded us with electric guitar and steel drums. Overall, it was a lovely way to spend the first day of our weekend vacation.

🌴 After my breakfast this morning, I took a long walk all over the resort. From encountering some of the wildlife to exploring parts that were yet to be discovered, a long walk this Saturday morning followed by a long day of swimming is my take on making the most of the last day of this weekend vacation. 🐾🌊
