You and Ekko met long before either of you knew what the world expected from you. Two kids from Zaun who still hadn't learned just how cruel the Undercity could be. You spent your days scavenging for scraps, racing across rooftops, and dreaming up futures that seemed impossibly far away

Benzo welcomed you just as warmly as he welcomed Ekko. Before long, you became another kid hanging around the shop. Benzo couldn't count how many times he'd find the two of you covered in grease, proudly presenting another creation

It took years before either of you confessed. Looking back, everyone else had figured it out long before you did. The Fireflies would later joke that the only people surprised by your relationship were the two actually in it

You know each other almost too well, Sometimes all it takes is a glance across the room for one of you to understand exactly what the other is thinking, almost as if you read each others mind

Leading the Fireflies together meant learning to trust each other's judgment, when it comes to living in the hideout and during missions, trust is Important

The Firelight, especially Scar love to tease the both of you (╥ ω ╥)

Despite everything Piltover/Zaun has taken from you both, being together reminds you that not everything was lost, and that there is something to fight for

Although Ekko is recognized as the founder of the Firelights, everyone knows the group wouldn't be what it is without you, he build the futre while you make sure everyone is alive to live it

Ekko hates when you take the most dangerous role, He knows you're capable, he knows you're smart, but that doesn't stop him from worring

The younger Firelights or just the kids in the hideout adore you !! ( ˘³˘ )

ekkos the type of person to be really clingy when no one’s around, when he’s tired of being the leader of the firelight’s and the strong facade that’s when he softens up to you.

when he’s clingy, he’s SUPER clingy

i mean leg around yours in bed, arm wrapped around you somewhere.

he never treats you any less or any more different than others on missions to destroy silcos shimmer supply. all he wants is to get the job done at the end of the day.

at first he did, wanting you to be a bit more careful because he cared too hard and you were reckless. but you eventually gained his complete trust and he sees you as everyone else during missions.

at home, he’s a complete softie.

in the mornings he makes you coffee, makes you your favorite breakfast and runs you a bath when you’re ready.

when you don’t want to deal with your hair, he always braids it for you so it’s not a hassle.

when you’re on your period, he takes the whole day off just to get your supplies, cook you a good dinner that doesn’t cause more cramping, and cuddles with you all night.

before he met you, he never used to really talk about his feelings. especially after benzo died.

but when you met him, you didn’t pry, you slowly taught him what it meant to not bottle your emotions up all the time and he trusted you with everything after that

at night, he’d rub your back when you struggle to sleep. and he listened to the sounds of your breathing which eventually helped him doze off too.

Ekkos fingertips brushed through your hair, nails lightly scratching your scalp as your worn muscles turned to mush.

Another day of work behind you, having exhausted yourself to the bone and your emotions having bubbled up to completion. Yet all of that stress couldnt withstand the effect of Ekkos soothing touch. His breath lulling you with the rise and fall of his chest.

"Y/N?Want to share what happened?" his tone gentle.

All you could let out was a short,disgruntled and half-hearted groan. To which Ekko couldnt help but laugh at.

"I understand."

Was the last thing you heard before succumbing to slumber.
