I walked out of that theater changed and healed. Patti Smith did that.

Well, healed apart from my right index finger. I clapped long and hard without realizing I was smacking that finger against a big ring on my other hand, which I do not recommend. It swelled up quite a bit and is already impressively bruised. I’m calling it my "Patti Smith finger."

Why do the knuckles on my right hand always look like I've been punching someone or something?

I slept on a bobby pin last night and now I have a bobby pin shaped bruise. I must say, I rather like it. Would it be weird if I tried to keep it?

There is a giant hideous purple bruise on the back of my right calf about the size of two quarters, but what I find to be more disturbing than the bruise itself is the fact that I just noticed it and have no idea where it came from or even how long it's been there. I used to be renowned for my observation skills.
