3 Weird Desserts Strange People Eat, Including Me
After watching a show that presents weird local desserts, I can't help myself on googling information about it. My younger brother describe me as someone who is into the prewriting phase of essay writing, just like my college days. He is confused on why am I putting too much effort understanding those what he call "strange people who enjoy weird food." I just said, cultural and custom differences. Anyway, I have here some weird desserts from different part of the globe that I think I can handle trying. Chinese Radish Cake I tried this one myself when me and a friend dined in a Chinese restaurant. I enjoyed everything that were offered, from the appetizer, soup and rice meal. Until our dessert was handed. We ordered it out of curiosity, since the presentation looks sweet and delicious. BTW, we don't know what it called that time, we just hand picked it from their dessert area near the cashier. We tasted it and we're out of words. We really can't describe how it taste. Tasteless maybe? Weird is another. Finally, we found out that it's a radish cake. We both said, "that's why!" so it's a root vegetable cake. Good for experience cake, but definitely not on my list of dessert.
Deep Fried Ice Cream Literally, it's a scoop of deep and fried ice cream. Strange it doesn't melt.
Zucchini Ricotta Cheesecake This is a cake dessert made from cheese and vegetable. Does it really taste like a cake?!
Readers, mind sharing your weirdest dessert?
