Does anyone have any tips on pain management? I’m having a hard time finding good resources on things to do/take that aren’t just like “exercise more and take aspirin 🙂” or “talk to your doctor”

I was talking to my girlfriend about poly stuff and let me tell you, the amount of restraint it took to not respond to her saying "OMG I don't know if I could ever love more than one person at a time" with "skill issue" was a whole lot
I try and remember that It's Never That Serious but every once and a while it actually /is/ That Serious so over time my Internal Seriousness Assessment Device has been thrown wildly off calibration and may as well be considered Completely Broken
Please consider the following:

I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner, but I think part of my issue is that if I'm Too Bored my ADHD brain decides to start thinking about the most ~stimulating~ things it can, which means focusing on the stressful stuff
The thing about being determined to recover is that nobody can stop me! ^w^
Someday when I’m not broke I’m gonna feel so much better, just you wait
