I'm super new to the fandom but I'm also super enthusiastic about shipping S and C (although I'm rather cautious for now before jumping to conclusions:)) I've seen your latest posts and ngl they make sense to me, is there like a master-post about you guys' theories/reasonings/evidences? I wanna get to know everything about them🙈
And again I've come to know about S and C only a very short while ago but Im so glad to see how sound they are in terms of political views and expressing them! (And please dont judge me if im being too cheesy by thinking of this connection when it's a very serious matter but the words in S's story today "I just chose love over hate" reminded me of the charity mentioned in C's latest post although I know it's not the rarest phrase to express your stance :') I just like to imagine that they would discuss these issues and share similar reactions I guess:'))
I think I already read something you sent to @bat-cat-reader, if I am not wrong (if so, forgive me), it was a long and heartfelt rant I liked a lot. Anyhow, welcome and brace yourself: this is a place like no other, where you will find the best and the worst, but more often the former than the later.
I have great sympathy for the newbies, perhaps because I was just like you three years ago, trying to figure out what the hell happened. At the time, there was no master post and I spent the mid September 2022 - mid-June 2023 interval patiently piecing all the evidence, reading as much as I could, pondering and doubting and being so glad everytime something resonated with my own thoughts.
There still is no master post, although you will find a couple of receipt threads floating around, here and there. For one, it would be quite difficult to realize. There are some competing theories, too, even on our side of the Great Divide, so you are free to shop around and stick to which one makes sense to you. The great thing is that there is no antagonism, so to speak: we still found a way to talk to each other and remain loyal, even if POVs might be slightly different. Which is not the case, as far as the feud with the Antis is concerned: for many reasons, a civilized middle ground has proved impossible to reach and dare I say, not because of us. You'll soon find out that mendacity is rampant and something I will personally not tolerate.
You are free to ask in DMs. I keep my door open to all the new arrivals, because I prefer being disappointed to being rude. And even if it did happen, I still managed to not become a bitter, resentful bitch. I simply blocked and carried on.
It would also help to post or reblog at least a couple of things on your page: people have become wary of sock accounts and will often block you for no other reason. They are often created and used as such by Antis to spy upon and bash us, including via Anons. And curate your dash: we are not very fond of undecided people sitting on the fence, here. They often shuttle between Mordor and The Shire, with the results you can imagine.
