Considering how important – and just plain amazing – they were, it's odd how few colour images exist of the classic late sixties lineup of The Quincy Conserve. Here's one we've just found and it's a great one, taken by Sal Criscillo we think, around 1969.

It rained a bit today. It was coming in the tack room door, draining through the floorboards, and coming out into the barn aisle on the other side. Okay, in the second picture I am standing in a hole, but it was still a lot of water!!
