i’ve seen some people annoyed about the fact Daniel ‘took the fastest lap away from lando’ and then people backing it up with the argument that he ‘did it for max’.
that is so wrong in so many ways as daniel has been teammates with both of them drivers and has never shown and concrete preference for either one so it is so wrong to insinuate that he prefers max.
second, he didn’t ’take the fastest lap away’ from lando, anyone can get the fastest lap. yeah it might seem a big silly as it didn’t they him any points but who cares. daniel didn’t do it for either if the drivers, he did it for himself. this may have been his last race in f1 and he probably just wanted to feel that last bit of achievement and excitement. just let him have it.
