honestly, it's overrated. you should do what you enjoy because you enjoy it, not because of weird social expectations.
it’s so odd i feel like everyone is just pretending to like it bc it does Nothing for me
like it has an effect on me but the effect is just like...noticeable. not pleasurable, just tangible.
but i’ve been pressured since like basically age 14 to JUST TRY IT YOU’LL LIKE IT so for me to finally apply myself to trying it in earnest and then not enjoying it...i am profoundly exhausted

honestly i think wembley would make a good minstrel if he set out on his own. he's very in tune with feelings and stuff around him, he'd just start bing boinging at the right times, i feel.
omg Minstrel Wembley gives me so many warm feels? Esp since he’s got so much anxiety and the Minstrels are kind of laid back, and it would just be cool to see him progress to that state. He’s also tends to be first one to reach out to other races in the rock, and to consider that they are potential friends instead of enemies or inferiors. Given that the minstrels are multi-species, this makes so much sense!
