The 19-year-old girl in the photo was named Ma Kyae Sin. Kyae Sin is Burmese word for star. 

Wearing a black shirt that says “Everything will be okay”, she stood as frontliner in Mandalay protest. Unfortunately, her fate ended. She got headshot and passed away instantly. 

She lived up like a beautiful star in our eyes. Strong-willed and determined. A brave lovely star.

You did a lot, my sister. Your efforts will never be forgotten.

March 2, 2021 / Kalay

Terrorists(the police) backed off when they charged on the protesters. It is said that 2 protesters were deeply injured at the scene .

In Kalay, 7 people were shot while 5 were in critical condition. Moreover, at least 13 people were wounded in a crackdown.
