The surgery went smoothly and I'm stable. I was emotional after waking up, nurse comforted me and we talked a lot. My energy levels are very limited, but altleast I have less brainfog. The staff is so nice, I probably thanked them too much, I was so happy that I went through with it. Thanks yall

Sorry but I love the idea of Durge killing and enjoying it in a form of 'control' thing so I'll talk about it.

Cuz let's be real, Durge was puppeteered around their entire life, all major events were orchestrated by daddy dearest, so when they find something that they can do, they can do well and it even makes them feel great they completely bloom into it. Kill to regain control of oneself kinda but also controlling the life or death of someone in form of vivisections and all that is an almost godlike level of control.

Like yeah sure, the sacrifice dedicated to father, but also to themselves, because they could choose who and how and even that is a marked improvement to 'wake up and everybody's dead also dad has some very fucked up ideas of what we gonna do in your free time'.

It also serves as an 'explanation' why they view Gortash in a different light compared to Ketheric, Orin or Sarevok. Cuz Gortash is control incarnate, there's not even a loose strand of hair on that man. He's essentially a fucked up version of an idol for Durge, embodying the control they want.
