Clancy and Torchbearer piece inspired by Air Catcher <3
My canvas said this took 35 hours but I’d estimate I took probably closer to 15-20. I’ve never done landscapes or backgrounds like this before so it was a new experience for me! Overall I’m pretty proud of it.

I was inspired by the Guns For Hands video (reference under cut) and I was plagued by the idea of Torch giving Clancy the mask. Telling him it’s there when he’s ready. That mask is his out but it will also become his identity. He will be unable to escape his fate. But then everything happens and the Banditos grow impatient and it’s not about Clancy feeling ready anymore. It’s not an offer, it’s a contract.
