“Woah—Lyssa! —Nice one!” Warren cheered, shooting up from his seat and pumping a fist into the air.
Running off of excitement and competitive adrenaline he practically threw her into a hug, a large grin on his face. “Where did you learn to roll like that?” He asked, pulling back and jokingly examining her as if there was some sort of secret written on her face. Warren had never really gone out bowling much, so (even with his vast knowledge of physics) he hadn’t done very well on his first roll. His teammate, on the other hand, had managed to hit a strike first try—and whether it had been pure luck or not, it had him pumped for the game ahead.
Keeping an arm around her shoulders, Warren turned back to the other team with a cocky grin (despite having rolled a terrible split just moments before). “You better bring your A game or Team Walyssa might just snag the victory,” he boasted, raising his hand for Alyssa to high five.
