“Probably a love bite,” Crowley mumbled. His mobile made several jaunty pinging noises.

Aziraphale frowned at the reflection of Crowley over the reflection of his bum. “I think I’d remember that.”

“Oh yeah?” Crowley let his hand drop and looked fully at Aziraphale. “You retain your full faculties throughout the entire event on Sunday? No overwhelming surge of hormones and nerves and whatsits?”

“Well, I—”

“Nothing distracting you from your crystal-clear memory of every detail?” Crowley, infuriatingly, began buttoning up his gaping pyjama top.

Aziraphale spun around and pulled his shorts back up. “Darling, I didn’t mean—”

But Crowley flicked off the lamp and turned on his side, pulling the covers up over his chin and immediately beginning—somewhat convincingly—to snore.

Were!Perry AUs

So I'm a bit into Perryschmirtz and I recently got into human!Perry AUs through that interest and I've been thinking since then about two different AU variations on the same theme: wereplatypus Perry. The variations being: Phineas and Ferb's Uncle Perry who also becomes a literal platypus for his job as Agent P vs human Agent Platypus who goes home to be a pet platypus to Phineas and Ferb. Either way, his secret identity would be pretty hard to uncover, and I think it would be funny if like in the second scenario, Doof would still be able to recognize Perry as a platypus if he put his fedora on (I'm thinking in a situation where P&F are there but the situation calls for his agent self and he doesn't want to freak out his boys by switching physical forms in front of them, even if they're going to have to forget the whole thing later) and would absolutely not question that Agent P was suddenly a literal platypus, even though "wereplatypus" never occured to him as a possibility. Would also be funny if in first scenario, Doof runs into Uncle Perry in the grocery store and flirts with him like "hello, handsome stranger," and Perry puts on his (platypus-sized) hat and Doof is like "Perry the Platypus? How are you human? You know, if I had imagined the way you look outside of work, this wouldn't be it."

Wereplatypus - anatomy practice

(NON CONTROLLED TRANSFORMATION)

Both male and female wereplatypuses have spurs, although males have spurs on both their front AND back legs. The front leg spurs are used for transference of the curse, as platypuses do not have teeth, and neither do their were-counterparts.

This means that the spurs carry both venom AND the curse. So not only do stings cause pain (on a much more severe level than their non-were counterparts), but they also can cause a transference of the wereplatypus affliction via these stings.

In a general sense, the size of male and female wereplatypuses varies depending on the carrier of the affliction; but even if those of the same size were to be both transformed, there would not be a biological size factor, and the transformations would equate to wereplatypuses of the same size.

When in an "uncontrolled" transformation, like that of a full moon; causes antisocial behavior in wereplatypuses. Although the level of shyness and aversion varies due to the carrier.

On average, wereplatypuses do not attack, if they do, it is when they feel threatened or aggravated. This makes being afflicted with the wereplatypus curse EXTREMELY rare, more so because of their unconventional methods of tuming others.

(As wereplatypuses can only turn others via venom transferance through the spurs, or by attacking things with their claws; which aren't inherently sharp.)

Because of this, they are often seen as one of the the least dangerous species of were-creatures in existence. But, that does not mean one should underestimate them.

Wereplatypuses are most adept to traversing water, as such, they are often found in or near lakes, rivers and ponds when transformed. Some who are aware of their afflictions opt to move doser to these natural bodies, so as to not cause problems with their daily lives. (As when transformed, these creatures can travel quite far in one night, causing quite a hassle for the afflicted when they need to find their way home in the morning...) However, this also means if you are trying to escape from an aggravated or aggressive weteplatypus, DO NOT run towards water. Instead, you will find the best escapes being to climb or get onto high perches as they struggle with climbing or jumping like their non-were counterparts.

(keep in mind that while they struggle, they are not as inept as their counterparts; due to the enhanced strength, speed, ect. comes with their affliction.)
