Today's thoughts: love sickness.

Like actually getting sick from being in love. A person gets dizzy and nauseous at when interacting with their crush. If they're crush compliments them in any way, they flush so much they get an actual fever. On a first date, they're an absolute mess. Feverish, sick to their stomach, dizzy, all while being on cloud 9. Even if they manage to keep it together, when their love kisses them on the cheek at the end of the night, they pass out from the head rush it brings.

I've been thinking about parasites and whump lately.

A character eats or drinks something that they shouldn't have, or a character gets captured and forced to eat to drink something laced with parasites as a form of torture.

The whumpee gets incredibly bloated and nauseous from the creatures hatching and multiplying inside of them. They can feel the parasites moving inside them and the foreign sensation is as terrifying as it is painful. The parasites might burry themselves into the whumpee's stomach lining, causing them a lot of pain. They sap the whumpee of any nutrients they have, and they are left exhausted, unable to do more than lay down and hold their aching stomach. But they can't even sleep because of the moving and the pain.

Maybe they get desperate for some sort of relief, and try to force the parasites out my making themselves throw up. Or they get some medicine to kill them, but they end up throwing up the dead parasites and unhatched eggs. But only time will tell if they've managed to get them all out.
