Summer was caught off by the question, especially by him. Biting her lip she paused to think about it before nodding slowly. “I mean, I think if two people are meant to be together, in the end they find a way to be together.” she said, her voice cracking a bit as she spoke. “But I also think that sometimes two people break beyond repair and they have to accept that things are over.” she muttered turning away from his gaze. “Why do you ask?”

Noah had been reading an erotic French novel - The Ravishing of Lol Stein by Marguerite Duras - when she was approached by a man who inquired about what she was reading. She, of course, was already blushing from a particularly sexual scene when he asked, but she found herself saying that she didn't mind. Once the man had sat down, the French woman automatically found herself getting comfortable, by laying her head in his lap. She loved to read, and before her best friend died, they would read out loud to one another often, and this is the position they would take. So naturally, she didn't put much thought into setting her head on a strangers lap before continuing to read the French script of the novel in a captivating that only came with practice reading out loud.
