Yesterday I have come to London. And yesterday was a day to welcome a newcomer to England. Sunny and fairly warm ( as far as warm goes here ;)). But with jet lag and travel arrangement I could only go for an evening walk around West Wickham. This morning is a different day altogether. A day like I would imagine thinking about England: cold, overcast, rainy. But I am told there is no such thing as “English weather”. The rather unpleasant morning transformed itself into sunny afternoon, which we plan to spend in more looking around the vicinity of West Wickham. Maybe those quick changes in weather are the “English weather”? ;)

My View of England Yesterday I have come to London. And yesterday was a day to welcome a newcomer to England.
Fallen down tree found in West Wickham, Bromley! I found it fascinating for some reason from how large the tree was and where it was placed fallen over.
The actress, who plays Lady Edith in the ITV series, made the announcement at a recent fundraising dinner. She said: “I’m thrilled to support HHA because their work is so inspiring. They put their money into the hands of people who need it the most and are doing fantastic work building a hospital and children’s homes that will last for generations. “HHA is a small charity that is doing vital work and I am so proud to support them.” The charity opened one of the main maternity facilities in northern Haiti last year, with 22 beds and a surgical department for obstetrical emergencies. During its first year, the unit was able to support more than 2,500 women, saving many lives through the provision of quality care. Co-founder of HHA, Carwyn Hill, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Laura has chosen to support our work. Just saw someone get run over as I was leaving work. Poor kid -though he did pretty much run straight into the car. Hopefully he'll be okay.
