Dreamer's Dreamcatchers Paintings

I'm working on making an actual dreamcatcher for the sims, but in the meantime, I made some paintings!

What is a dreamcatcher: After the cut

Dreamcatchers are handmade willow hoops woven to a web or literally, a net. They are hung above beds and cradles to catch dreams. In some cultures, they catch the bad dreams/thoughts in their net so they can't bother the sleeping person. In other cultures (the Lakota), they catch the good dreams so that the bad dreams fall and burn up. Regardless of what it's catching, the idea is a dreamcatcher above a bed protects the person from bad dreams. However, there's a lot more to them than catching dreams!

Dreamcatchers originated in Anishinaabe culture. The Ojibwe indigenous group inhabit southern Canada, the Norther Midwest of the U.S., and the Northern Planes. Over time, other tribes and nations adopted these symbolic objects.

Side note: If you ever purchase a dreamcatcher, you should purchase a handmade one from an indigenous seller. It's not a real dreamcatcher otherwise, and it's also disrespectful to purchase one from a non-indigenous seller. Support indigenous people!
