The Fennec Fox (Vulpes zerda) is a small canid native to North African deserts. It is the smallest canine, but it has the largest ears in proportion to its body size. Fennec foxes can be found from Morocco to Egypt, south to north Niger and Sudan, and east to the Sinai Peninsula and Kuwait.
