If you want to ask something, use wording such as, “Hi! Thank you for your hard work. I would like to .... [asking for help/WCIF/request], thank you in advance.”
If you want to complain or addressing something wrong in my work, use wording such as, “Hi! I noticed something is wrong with your work [explain the problem] .If you have time could you able to fix? Thank you very much, I respect your work.”
If you use Bahasa Indonesia or 中文 Chinese language, your comment will be prioritized.
If you want to send message to me, or any CC creators, use polite, adult, professional, and understandable simple English.
Not just recently, but I’ve noticed that many messages that sent to me majority are seemed to be from teenagers or young adults who haven’t been taught how to be polite.
Really tired of getting messages from strangers who ask me to do request for them for free, complaint, but none of them acknowledge my hard work, compliment, or saying thank you, thinking I’m teenager or young adult Westerner/Caucasian race from western country just because I’m able to speak English.
If you are 20 years old and older, please show you are 20 years old and older. Do not use random foreign slang such as, “Gawd Lawl”, “Minor itch” , “imo” or something like that seems immature and not understandable.
As a person from Southeast Asia whose English is not his first language, I do not understand those kind of language. My profile clearly states Chinese Indonesian from year 2014 I created this Tumblr.
I’m adult, old and no longer in my 20s.
Many of The Sims players and CC creators are old, not teenagers and young adults anymore. The Sims is started from year 2000. The Sims 3 is from year 2009. Players who played The Sims 3 in the first time in 2009 as 19 years old are now 30 years old going to 31. And many of us are not from western country. There are many CC creators from Asia, and majority CC creators are from Europe, which native language is not English.
Please do not think or judge someone on internet speak basic English as kids/ teenagers/university students or having low intelligence, but because the person’s first language is not English! And the actual age of the person is older than you assume.
Any messages without format wording like I said, automatically will be deleted by me. Please show some respect to CC creators and people on internet in general. Do not use random slang or meme or American teenager trendy language, just use simple basic English, be polite guests/visitors to blog owner.
