HNGGGG
So I’ve been super tempted to post a lengthy fic (I’m already eleven parts deep oof) and its an AU where Alice is a delinquent with a chaotic past and had been living in secret in Cradle for 3 months, then she meets Fenrir in a chase. The thing that’s been holding me back is that I’m scared that I’d never finish it, or it goes too lengthy, or I don’t stick to the commitment ksajfglkas
so i guess please tell me if you’d be interested? or drop suggestions if i should post it here or on Ao3 or somewhere else
can i just love my body for a full 24 hours??
i wanna make a more specific and fleshed out castlevania verse for angelica but idk...
ugh my fic is bad. its so bad ugh
Confidence Tip # 1: Understanding Confidence as Your Ability to Confide
"Confidence as a verb means: to confide. The question now is, confide in who and to do what?" -- Nick Reed
When I hear people talk about confidence, they talk about it like it is an object: "I had confidence in high school but I lost it" or "I found my confidence again after I won that race "she really needs some confidence" or "Hey dude, have confidence." But confidence is not a thing that can be lost, found and acquired like a penny in the street. Confidence, really, should not even be a noun at all.
Try this. The next time you need to mention confidence in a sentence, use it in it's verb form, to confide. Then watch the difference in levels of understanding about what you are talking about.
Because of confidence, in it's noun form can be so confusing, as a confidence coach I have to get clear with each new client on what the heck we are talking about before we can move forward. In fact, if 'I need to have more confidence' is all I have to go off, I cannot be of any help. Confide in who? And confide in who to do what?
Once 'confidence' becomes 'the ability to confide in oneself and others,' the path to confidence becomes much more clear and attainable.
This is the key to understanding confidence and for that reason is Confidence Tip #1.
Confide in ________(who) and to do __________(what?
