Flaming Wind, as per todays date, is really the only cat Aspen Snow considers a friend! I imagine she looked at him as just sort of a ‘lame older kid’ when they were younger, grouping him in with all the old people that she’s been at war with since the day she was born, but I also think she’s always liked training with him, just as any kid loves feeling validated by a ‘cool teen’. After the tunnels collapsed though they didn’t really interact until after they left the city, when both of them had grown up in different ways, and she definitely seems him as more of a peer since they started training together again.
On a surface level she thinks he’s a funny guy who she likes spending time with, but also sees him as kind of stupid considering the way he’s handled the Butterfly/Firefly situation. On a deeper level she truly does care for him. He’s been one of the few cats thats seen she was hurting and actually tried to do something about it, which has started to rub off on her in return. He’s maybe the only cat that’s made her realize that she needs him, and that she wants to be there for him the same way he’s been there for her. Being Aspen Snow she’ll never just trust anyone blindly but he’s certainly earned a high spot on her list with how stubbornly he’s stuck by her side. It’ll take a lot for her to care about anyone as much as she used to care about Spark Feather, but Flaming Wind is certainly making a good case for himself lately!
Hello!! Just to be sure, is there any difference between the roles of Elders and Storytellers, or are they one in the same and the same for all Clans?
One in the same for all clans! Elders have the ability to create stories and tell traditions, and there are a couple other things in the works for elders to be able to do. Also, Elders can always attend Gatherings - they kinda do what they want lol!

I love bramblefang!!! I liked watching him grow into being a father, especially seeing how his kits are.. turning out. and him and foxflame are really nice, its a kind of relationship where they both are finding their ways to show that they actually CARE for one another, you know?

honestly i want to know if he’s ever going to stop pricklekit from being.. like that. like, everyone knows it’s odd. i just wonder if he would make pricklekit give up on his stuff because he doesn’t want him to grow up like... that. i dont _see_ it happening, but it would be a really interesting thing!

MAN...what a shocker. anyway,
mantisstar loves stonefang. she’s such a massive part of her life, a cat she genuinely cannot imagine going without, and the times in which they were torn apart from each other were some of the worst moons of mantisstar’s life. she sees so much strength and beauty in stonefang and is just absolutely smitten with her in a way that makes her feel like a different cat, sometimes. she’s allowed to be more than just a leader with stonefang, who expects nothing more out of her than being a good cat. she can laugh longer, smile wider, be more at ease, and it’s all thanks to the love and safety stonefang provides her with.
beyond being her mate, stonefang is a cat mantisstar just baseline admires. she’s deeply involved in the community of the clan, generous and kind to all cats without being a pushover. she builds jaggedclan up, makes it better, and makes mantisstar feel like she’s a better cat, too. she admires her for many things, for all the kits she has raised, the families she has become a part of, for all her victories and the times she has overcome struggles. stonefang has a heart of gold, and mantisstar cherishes that more than she could ever express. stonefang is a cat she can rely on, and that means the world to her. she loves her silly jokes, her genuine thoughtfulness, her courage and her power and everything about her.
she loves stonefang because stonefang sees her, because she had to fight for understanding between them, because stonefang easily could have shut herself off to mantisstar but instead chose to open her heart and stay. she knows just how lucky she is to have stonefang be a part of her life, and she’s never going to let her go again. stonefang fought for her, she’s fought for stonefang, and she knows that they are meant to be together, that they are best as a team.

How I feel about this character:I really like Raccoonpaw!! He’s a little too much of a “cool guy” stereotype sometimes, but I overall like him!! He seems genuinely excited about being a warrior and living in a Clan, and I really look forward to seeing how things are gonna turn out for him!
All the people I ship romantically with this character:He hasn’t interacted with too many cats yet, so no one really. If I had to pick anyone I’d say that he and Currentstar could have potential together
My non-romantic OTP for this character:Raccoonpaw and Currentstar!! Raccoonpaw and Carpfang! Raccoonpaw and Marigoldpaw!!!!!!!
My unpopular opinion about this character:As mentioned I’m tired of the cool guy trope... But he seems way too okay with everything imo, there was no hesitation in joining the Clan or anything. I wish he was more than just the cool guy, y’know?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:I wish he talked with more cats... it’d be interesting to see if he leant more towards the Clanborn cats or if he stuck to the other newbies. I’d love to hear more about him from a backstory point of view too!
