//Anyway, I have no replies to write??? I mean what??? Back to this drabble series then...//

The witch...threw a potion-infused smoke bomb at A-ya and D-ne...the smoke is colored pink...

Both of them are coughing and their mun-cat is nowhere to be seen, once again. They're trying not to breath in this stuff, because colored smoke always means something...unhealthy...

A-ya gives up first, since his lungs are weaker, inhaling the smoke. D-ne holds her breath about ten seconds longer, before breathing in just as much.

The witch just stares at those children, before laughing hysterically and vanishing, leaving a note in her place.

The cat returns and reads the note while A-ya and D-ne are trying to recover, and get rid of the pink smoke...

Hestia was tapping her fingers against the kitchen counter anxiously. She rounded the corner to check their clock in the main room and then sighed and moved back to the kitchen. She resisted the temptation to bite her nails, and then even further resisted the urge to make a cup of coffee for herself. Realistically, Fabian had been gone for an hour, but it felt so much longer than that she began to doubt her own clock in her own house which she knew was correct. 

She sighed and decided he wouldn't be returning this very second, and took the time to look around her kitchen and think about the things that she could improve in here. Then, after a long moment when she thought she had escaped thinking about, she looked down at her torso. Could there really be a baby in there? In full knowledge she was alone, she hesitantly moved her hand to hover over her stomach, and before she could get embarrassed by herself, pressed it gently against where there was no bump at all. There was nothing that would even make her seem pregnant, but she couldn't pretend she wasn't after she told Amelia. But she... sort of didn't want to pretend anymore. She wasn't sure if what she was feeling was love, but it was... something. A sort of strange emotion she didn't know how to identify yet.  But she needed to let Fabian know. Today. 

She had it mostly planned in her head, but it really depended on what was going to happen when he learned. She heard the lock turn  at the door and she quickly took her hand off her stomach and went back to sorting the dishes, trying to seem normal.
