IRS Hell.

Back in March of this year our income tax check was stolen and cashed. It took us until the end of April to find out this had happened. (long story it was supposed to be deposited but because of a glitch a check was issued and dropped in the mail)

Well, we fill out the required form and sent it into the dpt of treasury in May. Fast forward to the end of July and I call to check and see what's going on with it. 

Only to find out the IRS is holding up progress, and not sending back the required information they are supposed to send??? And good luck getting in touch with anyone at the IRS via the 800 number, instead I'm sitting here fuming. Only other option is to call and make an appointment at the IRS building to see if there isn't something we can do to speed up this process.
