Tonight I had dinner with Ma & Pa and was asked about my resolutions for the new year. I started to tell about #nevermissaMonday2020 and then I frantically realized today was Monday (that's what kind of day it was 😩), and I was eating enchiladas instead of doing cardio. So in the spirit of personal growth and flexibility, on this second Monday of 2020, I'm adjusting my goal to include never missing a Monday workout or a Monday supper with parents. Because like everyone always says, Mondays are awesome. Each year for the past eight years, my sister and I have given each other and ourselves (and occasionally a dear friend) a wall calendar created by one of our favorite artists. Often the package ships with a postcard and handwritten, personalized note. This year's postcard and note feel extra poignant.
