💄 WHAT’s IN YOUR BRIDAL PURSE? 💄 Here are a few essentials you should think of having in your bridal purse that I am sure will come very handy for the touchups throughout the day. 🌺 Powder 🌺 A wedding day is a long celebration involving a lot of emotional moments, dancing, eating and drinking. It is almost inevitable that a shine will develop throughout the day, so it is important to have the right powder to control it. There are many powders available depending on your skin type and the finish you are after. - For luminous finish mineralized powders are the best. They will take away excess shine without making skin too matte. My favorites are M.A.C Mineralized Skinfinish and Laura Mercier CandleGlow Sheer Perfecting Powder. - For matte finish and full coverage try M.A.C Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. It is a powder and a foundation two in one. It’s great for shine control and also extra coverage. - For shine control without texture change try Illamasqua Translucent Powder or regular blotting papers. 🌺 Lipliner and lipstick 🌺 This is probably one of the most important makeup items besides the powder. Make sure you know what lip products your makeup artist used to achieve the look and purchase them so you can reapply at any time. 🌺Extra Pins & Cotton Buds 🌺 It is the little things that are often overlooked. Having a small cotton bud can make all the difference. I always pop a few alongside with a few hair grips on my clients purse. And on the final note, try to remember to keep checking your hair and makeup throughout the day where possible. Photographs will be taken all around you without you even noticing, so it’s good to make sure makeup and hair are still in place.
