Thoughts on the loss?
It wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best. I think Bishop would like those first two goals back (as would I). We didn’t give up, our penalty kill was bangin’, and it wasn’t a blow out. However, we flopped on the power play and took a bad penalty at the end to negate the advantage of pulling our goalie for the extra man. Bottom line: Pekka Rinne is an amazing goalie and that’s a game-changer, especially since the Preds got drastically out-shot all night.
