Upcoming Events and Reads for Me
So I have few things to talk about in this entry. The first is that I have no willpower when it comes to We Be Bookin’. I wasn’t planning to do the big September event, but I was so productive during Bookish Jeopardy that I think I might be quasi-addicted to the reading productivity. So here I am, joining the September event, Wheel of TBR! You’ll have to click on the picture of the wheel, but those are all my prompts for the month. We get one spin per book, so whatever you land on, that’s what you have to read.
The other day, I went to our community library and tried to find John Grisham books and this other book, 11-22-63 by Stephen King. NO luck on the ones I really wanted/needed to read. For John Grisham, I was looking for A Time to Kill and The Street Lawyer. I decided to put all of those on hold at the library. :) I’m sure that someone will have the Stephen King book on hold so I might not be able to renew it We’ll see if I end up having to buy it as a used book.
Even though I didn’t find what I was looking for, I did find a whole series in hardcover. Very excited about this! See above pics!
I am not sure if I mentioned it before, but I am doing a Twilight Saga reread with some friends.
After I finish The Great Hunt on Audible, going to listen to Alex Trebek’s autobiography. :) He is a man I greatly admire and I am excited to get this look inside his personal life. Then I will be listening to Wheel of Time book 3. My plan is to be as close to the middle of the series by the time the Amazon Prime series premieres. We do not have a release date yet. Which gives me hope that I might make it at least halfway.
This all depends on how Wheel of TBR goes starting in September. Wish me luck!
