The Shells - When I’m Blue (1965)
Don’t know much about the Shells, other than they were from Chicago and that Jerry Butler produced this record. It’s a bit rough, even sounding a bit like a garage rock tune. But I like it like that.
Just saw/reblogged a post of adorable little toads, and I just wanted to remind everyone that this is a thing that exists.
Sometimes when I'm having a bad day, or feel bad about myself, I remember when The Mysterious Mr. Enter had a cyberstalker who was so obsessive and such a pain in the butt that he did a video calling her out and threatening her with legal action just to get her to leave him alone.
So I read your post, and "I feel like I do nothing but complain and whine about the way they do things" really stuck out to me. Because you don't do that. I know I haven't rped with you in a good long while (Hi it's Bendu) but in all our rps and chats, I've *never* seen you do such a thing. I understand the feeling, I used to think I was clingy to one of my friends, but I asked him and he said I wasn't. It's the same case here. You think you're something you're not, in a good way. Hope today's g
Danke, mein freund =‘) Hope today’s good for you, too!
Anyway I wish you the very best. I hope you have some very great days ahead of you & i hope this helped, if only a little. Take care of yourself the best you can. (4/4)
I’m going to respond to this one, since it’s the last one.
First of all, thanks for your kind words. I actually wasn’t expecting to get a response to that post--or at least, not one so long, heh ^^ I do actually have a therapist...as a matter of fact, I was going to try calling to arrange an appointment later today. But thanks again so much for your concern...I really needed to hear that.
Have a good day, you sweet person =)
I'm not sure about insurance & all of that technical stuff but I think if you can, finding a good therapist might help you a lot. It can be hard to find the right one that you feel most comfortable with but having someone you can talk to & someone to help you with things might be a big help. (3/4)
.
I think your internet & irl friends like you because they can see that you're a good person. Everyone has struggles & faults. I can tell you're trying your hardest to better yourself & to be an even better person. (2/4)
