Monika Isn't embarrassed at all and in fact uses the opportunity to tease you even more.

She starts leaning on the floor with her hand and winks at you while grinning, she loves it when you blush because of her

Starts compliments you non stop trying to get you riled up or at least embarrassed so that you can be even cuter

While she definitely wouldn't mind if the situation escalated into something more...exciting she will leave if you tell her...not before snapping a quick picture for memories...and maybe later use

"Hey y/n have you seen-"

[Monika peeks her head into your room and after seeing you in the middle of taking your shirt off smirks and leans with her hand on the doorframe]

"What are you doing there cutie?~"

"M-monika? I'm changing!"

"Yeah I can see that, but I would like to see it from a better perspective if you know what I mean"

[She winks at you as you blush]

"L-leave, i'm changing now!"

"Alright Alright sorry, i was just teasing i'll leave now....but if you ever change your mind you know where to find me~"

[She sneakily snaps a picture and closes the door leaving you a blushing mess]

Yuri

Instantly regrets every decision that led her to this point (except agreeing to be in a relationship with you) and closes the door without saying anything

Outside she's hiding her insanely red face in shame and trying to hold back some blood coming from her nose and muttering about how stupid she is

When you come back she immediately hugs you and starts apologizing profusely, she's relieved to hear you don't mind but still needs some time to recover

....later she might...use the pen to try to get what she saw out of her mind

[Yuri is about to enter the room when she sees you inside and blushes profusely before closing it with a loud thud]

"....i'm such an idiot, why didn't I knock!? That's basic etiquette. Oh...y/n looked really cute though...a-are they mad!? Oh please don't be mad"

[You open only to get hugged by Yuri]

"I'm so sorry y/n, please forgive me i'll never do something like that again I swear it wasn't intentional i-"

"Eheh calm down yuri, it's fine, we're dating after all"

"....i-i suppose you're right. Thanks..plus you looked really beautiful"

"Thank you, you look beautiful too"

[You kiss her forehead as she blushes more]

Sayori

Whatever she's about to say dies in her mouth as her face becomes as red as the bow on her hair and her eyes and mouth widens

She starts stuttering and freezes on the spot, she wants to close the door apologize and leave but she genuinely can't. It's like her body isn't responding to her commands anymore

You have to be the one to close the door, change and then open it again. Only when she sees you clothed sayori starts speaking again and apologizing

She genuinely can't look at you too closely for like a day or else images of what she saw start flashing in her mind and she starts blushing all over again

"Y/nnn!! Please do you-"

[Sayori freezes and blushes when approaches your door]

"Oh sorry sayori i'm changing could you come back later?"

"Ah-i-i-i-i-eh....a-eh-ah-i'm s-s-"

[She just keeps stuttering and not moving so you close the door and change, when you open the door you still find her there with the same expression]

"...hey sayori...you ok?"

"O-oh y-yeah s-sorry..ehehe"

"It's fine sayori...Just knock next time ok?"

Natsuki

Even before you realized she's in there looking at you she throws something at you and calls you a pervert. Somehow she thinks it's your fault that she walked in on such an intimate situation

She keeps yelling at you while blushing but for some reason doesn't make any effort to leave or close the door

If you tease her about actually enjoying the view that's when she'll actually shut up and close the door, letting you change...however she does slap you the next moment she sees you

She also blames you that she can't sleep well that night because of...everything she saw

"PERVERT!"

"H-huh natsuki what are you-"

"Have you ever heard of closing doors!? That's basic decency! If you don't even do stuff like that then I don't know why i even started to live with you in the first place!"

❥ a little bit of a sequel from my other monika story, enjoy.

❥ word count: 1,008

she wants to write a poem about it.

this overwhelming feeling of everything all at once. the colors, soft and pastel, so unlike the reds, greens, and blues that constantly washed over her digital world. the distant sound of traffic outside, or the pitter patter of rain, a melody to her ears. the soft smell of candle wax that always seems to blend with the air, each breath she takes, the weird squiggly feeling of being flesh and not code.

and then the feeling of warmth.

she’s not so sure how’d she write about it, actually. there’s no other way to describe it then… just what it is. she feels warmth, in the borrowed, used up sweater that loosely hugs her body; in the gauze, wrapped snugly around her arms, the glass that stuck to her skin delicately picked out from when she broke out of that screen. or maybe that giddy, yet sore, stirring of her stomach when she remembers that she really is here.

her clothes, her uniform, her being, at one point, now lie innocently folded at the desk nearby. you didn’t know what to do with it, that’s okay, she’s not sure what to do with it either. it was her sprite, her appearance, the only way you know it’s her. but your clothes are much more comfortable anyways.

monika remains quiet as the blanket pounces over her body in waves, tucked into her sides. the texture… it’s rough, the quilt is worn throughout the years of use, with some of the sides having to be stitched back up. monika likes the look of it though, it feels very homey, you could say.

she’s never had a home.

she’s never felt blood pumping through her veins, only code. each breath she used to take was just a play of her mind, but now she can, now she has to. it’s an unconscious, natural ability she earned when she escaped that computer, like the years of yearning for reality seemed to pick up quickly.

you also helped her.

you’re humming, something small, something quiet, but she still picks it up above all the other noise. she decides she likes it, maybe your doing it absentmindedly, or maybe to calm her down when she already feels safe, monika doesn’t know.

well… while she does feel warm, and comfy, and safe, her head is painful—everything’s painful, actually, but mainly her head. it pounds in her ears like it wants to be let out, it makes her eyes flutter as it’s ache reaches the front. her hands, they instinctively press their heels to her temple like that’ll stop it.

you pause from whatever your doing—she couldn’t tell, her vision blurs together—when you hear her quiet moan of pain. she didn’t really want you notice, you’ve been doing so much for her even though she practically broke into your house with that computer.

that’s right, the memory is faint, everything had happened so quick that she couldn’t process it. her world, that computer, the only thing she had known, had vomited her out, every pixel of her fake body turning into flesh. the computer had screamed, she remembers that clearly, it’s gears twitched and crackled, smoke spewing from behind. it was never meant to form life, so obviously it couldn’t make it. the glass had cracked once, then shattered, the first physical pain she had. you weren’t in the room when it happened, but you came just shortly after.

and now here you were, tucking her nicely into your bed, having bandaging her up and comforting her until the noise of life and the absence of static no longer overwhelmed her as much. monika would’ve said she could handle it, that she wasn’t born yesterday, but that’s technically not true.

“i’m fine,” her voice is barely audible, but she manages to say it before you approached her side. it’s weird, how she can hear herself speak, that each word spoken wasn’t just transformed into text. “really, i am, it’s just…” she trails of, swallowing.

you nodded, you seemed to have understood her without her finishing.

it’s just a lot, is what she going to say. really, imagine everything you’ve ever wanted, every wish that seemed to far just being shoved into your hands like it was nothing, like you could’ve just asked this whole time. just yesterday she was trapped in a flat world, wishing for something more, for touch, for reality, for friends, for you.

and now she has it.

that’s right, she’s always wondered who you were behind that little cursor of yours, what you look like, how your voice would sound like as a whisper in her ear, what your hobbies were, if you maybe liked writing poems too. if you were sweet and caring or if you were quiet and cold. now she can know, now she can know the real world, the real you.

you had disappeared to another room while she was thinking, and when you returned, with water and a pill to help with her head, she’s not sure whether to start crying or laughing at the fact that she exists and you’re not bothered by it.

she doesn’t do either, instead she gives you a weary smile as she slowly sits up, to grab the cup and pill from your hands. she stares at the rippling liquid for a moment, remembering how cool it was on her lips the first time she drank it while you were brushing out her ruffled hair.

she repeated the action before popping the pill into her mouth, managing to swallow it first try. she places the cup back on your nightstand, and there was a pause between the two of you for a moment.

“actually…” monika meets your gaze, and offers her small, signature smile. “i could use some company… y’know, after everything.”

so you sit next to her on the bed, and she’s happy to lean her head on your shoulder, holding your hand like a reminder she’s here, and monika closes her eyes.

“Broken Together” the DDLC Girls (separately please) with a Male S/o who has mild schizophrenia. (I don’t really know much about schizophrenia or mental diseases, but I’ll go with what I’ve researched) In case you’re unaware of the symptoms I’ll just lay out the base of them from my research. Mild or residual schizophrenia is pretty much just mellowed schizo, but the visions, sounds, and things you feel seem a bit more grounded into reality, leading to the person having difficulty discerning their delusions from what’s actually happening. Now how would the girls react to having an S/o who has this mental strain? He’d have some good days where he’d see nothing, but then there would be other days where they’d find him curled up in a ball in a corner, mumbling to himself about how everyone is yelling at him, despite nobody actually being there. But they would always find joy and relief in the fact that he knew they were real. His visions and nightmares may have been horrible, but he always knew that they were truly there beside him. And his experience with horrifying nightmares made him a good shoulder to cry on for them, and his kind, loving words always reminded them that they both may have problems, but they would always be together. Broken together.

(I think this request would take place in an au where the world of DDLC is real and isn’t all just some coded fake reality)

Monika

Monika really hates seeing you in pain and when you're having one of your episodes she wants nothing more than for you to get back to your usual self, she will help you in whatever way possible to get you through that

She really likes to touch you to physically show you that she is real and there and will never leave you. From gentle touches and soft kisses on your face to hugging you tightly and not letting you until you feel better if you're comfortable with it of course

She prefers for both of you to stay quiet during this moments, gently sushing you while you cry in her chest. She doesn't really want to hear all the pain her beloved boyfriend is going through, it pains her knowing you're suffering and she can only do so much to help. But if you want to talk then she'll quietly listen

She is very protective of you partly because of your condition. She will not tolerate anyone making fun of you for "acting weird" but she also doesn't feel too comfortable with other people who aren't as close to you trying to help you. In her mind you're hers to care for and protect and she doesn't think many other people can help you like she can, it's a bit more of her possessive nature coming out in this context, but you help her with it, telling her that it's alright and while you love her more than anything other people's help is also important to get you through these times

"Shhh it's alright my beloved. I'm here, nothing will hurt you while i'm with you, nothing. I will never leave you, no matter what. Do you want to stay like this? I'll stay right here for as long as you need my love"

Yuri

Yuri will do as much research as it takes on your condition to help you with it of course but also because admittedly the subject kinda interests her. But seeing you in pain is such despair makes all that curiosity turn into hatred for this illness, why did it have to affect her boyfriend of all people?

Her morbid fascination in your situation mostly stems from her interest in horror, she'll ask you to describe what you felt during one of your episodes because to her it feels like a some description she'd read in a horror novel. But she'll feel super bad afterwards as she thinks she's using your pain to fuel her own amusement but you actually don't mind that much as talking about it helps you deal with the visions too.

Whenever she sees you like that she'll go make some tea and sit you down to do some breathing exercises to help ground you. She wants you to know that she's there for you, and you can tell her anything without being judged, she's a great listener in that sense, offering you words of comfort and reassurance all the while softly holding your hand.

Normally she'd be way too shy to confront anyone who says anything negative about her or you but if it's about your condition she won't hold back, not yelling but still clearly fuming at however dared say something so disrespectful about you. They're lucky you forbid her from bringing knives around or she might just cut something...or someone other than herself

"Are you feeling better now my love? Would you like some more tea? Or to talk more? I-i'm sorry if it seems like i'm enjoying hearing you talk about it b-but I promise I feel so sad for however you must feel, I can't imagine how awful it is....I want to help you however I can darling....o-oh please don't mention it...with all the times you helped me when I had the urge to....c-cut myself it's the least I can do, I love you"

Sayori

Sayori's poor heart aches every time she sees you during one of your episodes. She can feel your sadness and pain and that makes feel unhappy too. She can't help but think of all the times you put aside your own despair to comfort her depression, so now it's her turn to do the same

She will try to be as positive as possible when she sees you like that, doing whatever it takes to cheer you up saying that there's no reason to listen to listen to the fake voices when she is there for you and the only real one who cares about you. She might make some silly jokes to get you to smile and recognize only her presence

She will do whatever you need to get better, if you want to cuddle she'll instantly wrap you in her arms if she wasn't doing that already, if you're hungry she will grab one of natsuki's cupcakes and feed it to you. If you just need to feel her presence or talk she will silently stay near you while maybe giving you one of plushies to hold

Even if she's not feeling the best that day she will still put your well being before her own and put on a smile while trying to get you to feel better. It doesn't matter how she feels if the guy she loves most in the world is still suffering and she knows you'd do the same for her

"Y/n! P-please stop crying! A-are you seeing things again?....oh...h-hey just so you know they won't hurt you while i'm here, i'll beat the crap out of them if I have to! Eheh no one makes my cute bf cry and gets away with it, do you wanna cuddle now? Yay i'm so happy, i'll be right there"

Natsuki

Natsuki might not seem like the most helpful or comforting person but she can see just how terrified you are when you cry and scream at things and people that aren't there and she really doesn't like it, she loves you after all and so she'll clearly help you any way she can

She'll try to be as soft and nice as she can when she sees you like that, she knows the last thing you need is for her to be her normal confrontational and agressive self. She will speak more softly and try to be more affectionate in hopes of getting you to calm down

But if she is in a particularly bad mood then it will be hard for her to fully put away her bad mood to help you. She might even yell at you if you "annoy" her enough. Of course she'll feel really bad afterwards and apologize and you forgive her because dealing with someone like you can't be easy...you saying that just makes her feel worse

One special thing she does is bake you your favorite sweets so you can have them after you calm down, she hopes that it can help you feel better or at least help more than her comfort or words do

"Are you feeling better now y/n? Good you were yelling so much, it was so loud. N-not to say you should have been quieter or anything i know you can't help it....*sighs* look i made you some cookies, I hope they can help...a-and don't forget i'm here too if you need me"

Your relationship is kind of the extreme version of a long distance one with you being literally a word apart but you try to make the best out of it while she's still stuck in the game

Monika mostly has almost total control of your computer and she uses that to help you most of the time, like fixing any problems it might have as long as its in her power. She is pretty good at coding after all, she also basically acts as your personal antivirus

She gives you a little chibi Monika (like the one in the poems) as your desktop assistant, it's basically just another way to be with you and help you while you're not directly in the void classroom but it is kinda weird for anyone else who isn't you using the computer

If she's mad at you or you don't visit her for a while she will crash your computer and leave you with a blue screen until you apologize

While you can't do very much except talk there are still some activities Monika loves doing, like playing videogames. She can instantly enter whatever game you're playing on your computer and join you, you can even talk through the chat and microphone. It's one of the few times when monika can interact normally with other people as they don't see that she's not in the real world

If you use your computer to study then monika will for sure help you in any way she can, especially if its something related to literature or reading. You can just leave ddlc in the background and start studying and whenever you're stuck ask your digital girlfriend for help, she's always willing to aid you in any way she can.

Whenever you're not around among the other things she does she likes to look around if there are any more mods or extensions for the game that can make your time together better. She'll even code some stuff in herself once she has enough experience

Yes she does have access to your search history...and she actually doesn't mind too much if you look at....that type of art of her, as long as its not of other girls

While she really loves spending time with you she still knows that spending too much time in front of the pc isn't healthy for you and so she will tell you to go do other things (all the while still thinking of her of course) whenever she feels it's been too long. You'll make up all the lost time when she'll go to your world anyway

Speaking of monika is constantly looking for ways to cross over, she'll try whatever method she finds on the internet no matter how unbelievable, and she'll manipulate the code to see if it could work. She'd do anything to go into your reality as soon as possible, she can't wait for the day when she can hold you in her real arms and look in your real eyes
