So, this will be my last Cebu related blog-post from our escapade.
I have a lot to share about my recent trips and raves for the last months, I didn’t realise how backlogged I was until now. Ooops!
This was just a compilation of the things we did, food we ate and some tips. If you could still remember from my previous post, we spent our night & last daylight hours of the trip in the metropolitan area.
It was already dinnertime when we decided to dine at the famous Larsian in Fuente. It's a BBQ heaven!
No spoon & fork, but they will give you plastic gloves and plates with banana leaves. There will be a basket served with lots of pusó rice for Php5 each. Don't forget to order their famous chorizo! My fave actually. I'm drooling just by thinking about it now. Ha! Ha!
The next day, or should I say our last day in Cebu we went to Magellan's cross which is now protected and surrounded by woods because of the undergoing construction.
Negrita eh? I got my tanned skin from basking under the sun since I arrived in Cebu. I'm proud of it! <3 Carried all my bags with me because it's our flight back home in the afternoon.
Next was the historical Basilica De Sto Nino, a must stop for the a first time visitor of Cebu.
Filipinos & devotion, not only in Cebu but in all places. No doubt about that.
Basilica was damaged from last year's earthquake and was still under construction until now, it's closed from the devotees and visitors. It was saddening to have viewed the cracked walls of this first and oldest church in the country.
I was curious so I sneaked in my camera from the open window. Kinda creepy tho.
One of the oldest structures in the city, Gotiaoco Bldg. It was built in 1914!
Cebu is synonymous to lechon and of course, I wouldn't leave the city without tasting the famous lechon! Accdg to my research, CNT & Zubuchon has the most raves!
Which is better between the two? Personally, I'd prefer Zubuchon, hands down!
We had CnT when we visited Ayala Mall for lunch, and bought Zubuchon when we were waiting for our departure.
I have still a long list of must visit when in Cebu so most definitely, I'd still go back! I enjoyed every places and discoveries during our trip!
